Don Dabney admitted to the facility on 2/22/22 following a hospital stay. Don admitted requiring max assist with ADLs. He was unable to stand or ambulate upon admission. While in the facility, he received PT/OT/ST services to improve strength, increase independence with toileting, dressing and transfers. He worked on higher level cognitive tasks with speech therapy to increase safety awareness, independence with IADLS. Don was able to regain strength and independence needed to return home with family support. Don loves to sing, dance and drink Pepsi during his therapy sessions. He also has enjoyed baking cookies during OT treatment. He can get himself dressed and is walking with a rolling walker @ 200-250 feet with stand by assist. Don stated, “he would come back to CNRC for therapy in the future and he really liked the people and therapy here.”
